Got made redundant, negotiated a massive payout in comparison with the amount of time I was employed there.
Bought my opt-out 'company' car outright, bought a fancy new laptop, buying another bike next weekend.
Got a new job with a 10% payrise with a much more financially stable company.
It's all good, so far.

Been a prick all your life? And no, she's not a prick. Bit of a mentalist, yes, but not a prick.

In fairness I probably worded my reply to harshly but the quote of "piss off" kinda irked me

I messed up my pay claim form in December and didn't get paid. Scrimped and was tight all month, spent next to nothing. So next Friday, when I'm paid, I'm being paid for everything from the 15th of November up till now. Which should result in my biggest pay cheque ever, and becoming the richest I've ever been.
Bear in mind I'm talking ex-student levels of richness here... This "huge" pay cheque should see me out my overdraft, and possibly into 4 figures of positive money!
