I'm looking to lay a solid wood floor on top of a concrete floor.

Which underlay is the best for the job? I ideally want one which will add some thermal efficiency to the floor and remove any slight undulations in the concrete.

Jablite or similar but will add about 2" to the floor thickness.

imo, the thick green fibreboard stuff. i layed onto concrete and the stuff on the roll was a load of crap. one room i did has the fibreboard, and another has 4mm foam which was fine for removing small high-spots etc. but isn't as good for sound reduction.
