How is it loss of business?

Sell them something else whilst they're on the phone.

Why would you want to sue the site?

wouldnt it be easier just to ask PH to pull the ad?

....or you could ask the mods to help you out by removing the ad' and not be so quick to sue......

Sue? Very odd as an opening gambit. Stop wasting time thinking about suing and get back to work.tongue out

Surely it's the fault of whoever put the advert up, not Pistonheads...

Jason, it's your phone number, your car, so I assume someone's having a laugh at your expense? (especially with the Metro p/x ?)

Calm down with the big "duty / sue" stuff. We'll sort this, fear not.

Although you can direct link that advert if you browse the adverts it's no longer showing up. IIRC enough people have reported it that it looks to have been pulled for review, that should atleast be enough to stop your phone ringing.

The mod that moved the post may not have had authority to delete classifieds, but hopefully it'll have been flagged up and removed pronto.

If you really want to try, but good luck with that. We're in the process of taking it down - it might direct link still, but won't appear in the listings.

Thanks

It can take up to an hour for the cache of the page to remove the ad, so within the next hour it will not show at all.
