I'm looking for a new 32" LCD TV that has a built in digital tuner.
The problem is, I don't have a standard aerial connection, only feeds off an existing satellite dish.

What i want to be able to do is wire the satellite dish directly into the TV using the "screw in" connections that you would normally wire into the back of say your Sky box.

Is this possible, or do I need some sort of freeview box sat in the middle (which I don't really want as the TV is supposed to have its own digital tuner)? All of the LCD TV's I have been looking at only have the old style aerial connections and that's no good to me.

Any ideas?

Anything a bit cheaper? This is going to be a 3rd TV for the playroom so doesn't have to be amazing.
I was hoping for something around the 400 pound mark?

Thanks for your help!

If you dont want something with an onboard freesat tuner then you need a freesat box and any old television will do.

So thats what i need to look out for then - "onboard freesat tuner"?
I was unsure how these differed from TV's advertising digital tuners.

Looks like I'll just have to get an HD freeview box and plug the satellite cable into the back of that then.

Cheers anyway! beer

Its only Panasonic that make them and the 32LZD81 is the only 32" set, hence the initial recommendation.

FreeVIEW and FreeSAT are two very different things - the former comes over the aerial you don't have, and the latter comes over the dish you do have...
