As simple as possible here are my requirments.
Budget of £200 a month.
Deposit cant exceed £500.
Will consider new or used but if new, im favouring contract hire. Any suggestions. I have a smart roadster at the mo. So looking at cars where reasonable performance is expected considering my small budget.

without sounding like a pain (considering you haven't already) try copying this into General Gassing...you will get a bigger/broader response Budget of £200 a month.

Why? Brake fade does not always give you too much warning ... but that is one reason why I'm a bit reluctant to take my car on a track day. I'm not worried about my driving so much as the unknown factors.burriana said:

Meep! I'm now starting to worry about my first track day in a couple of weeks. I'm getting insurance, and getting a final check done on my car this weekend. Fingers crossed I won't get into any trouble...tfeb, you still haven't elaborated on your Saxo experience yet.
Oh and teapea don't mean to offend any enthusiastic car drivers, just the idiots in afformentioned cars that drive up so close trying it on and then ruining your P&J's paintwork cos they can't handle the 30hp cars they drive.
