Ooo errr misssus, if Pasco and Fordy and Spendy see this I guess its open season on the Stokies!

But , could somebody with a RV8 TVR measure their dipstick for me please?
The new engine I have didnt come with the tube or stick so I need to know the length so I get the right one.

Of course it would depend on the type of sump fitted, but we can assume its and SD1 type.
I was thinking of using a gas welding rod to measure the distance from the bottom of the sump to the block hole for the dipstick tube.

Wire coathanger job. The length to mark to should be almost to the bottom of the sump. Maybe 2 or 3 mm away.
