Body Weight ONLY
Discussion
Following an earlier thread,
Does anyone know the mass of the body just on it's own? The reason I ask is that I'm looking at doing a body off chassis outrigger repair, and I am curious to see if my garage roof joists are up to the job of supporting it - they're not exactly substancial, but I could spread the load over a few.
Cheers.

Hi
If you do a search for "Another body off" going back a few weeks, this topic is discussed in some detail. My body is currently hanging from my garage roof while I weld up the chassis. My rafters are 4"x2" and there is no sign of distress but the suspension points are very close to the walls. I would estimate the body weighs about 400 kgs. Andy

An easier way to find it - click on S2Andy then click on forums and you can see what Andy has posted.
Useful if you know who has posted something.
Here it is anyway, hows it going Andy?
