I have just got around to changing a gastly aftermarket ammeter fitted to my car which didn't work anyway.
Curiously there is no evidence in the wiring loom as where to connect it, at the panel or engine bay. This suggests it has never been connected. Was there ever one fitted to Series 2 cars? and if not what was fitted in the hole top left hand side of instrument panel.
