Bit petty to give the guy who passed a breath test a ticket for his seat belt.

Watched a similar US program the other night and they either let most people off or minimised the penalty - one guy in Viginia faced a $1050 penalty (which they said only applies to Virginia residents - and this is the land of the free, imagine that here!) for being more than 20MPH over the limit of 25MPH but the Trooper knocked the speed down so he got a much more minor fine.

A mate of mine in Georgia has just bought a new Dodge Challenger SRT and had to pay a $1700 'gas guzzler tax' added to the invoice! As for the speeding, bear in mind they don't have points with the fine. I think most people here would be happy with higher fines and no points on their licence.
