Anyone know where repossessed houses end up? Do they just go through auction or is there a site somehwere where I can look.
Thanks

Why stop there though? Why not get hold of some court schedules so that you can be there on the day with the bailiffs to cheer the people actually being made homeless too?? I'm sure they'd love to hear how much money you plan to make from their misery Thanks

More people bidding (if thats how it works) the more it sells for and the more the owner will get back.
Its the cruel side of life I am afraid.
I hear you maintain a list on your whiteboard Mr Rusk?!
Can't see the problem here, the OP wants to buy a house for the best price possible so wants to know where to look. No different to checking out BCA or Mannheim if looking for a car at auction to save a few quid.
OP, take a look at Allsop's website (main UK auctioneers)for starters.

I beleive you have your pants on inside out.
My local one is Hunters and they send me a pack every time they have a local auction.
Have a look on your local estate agents websites.

not all repos go to auction. I erect signs for estate agents and quite often put signs up for local agents who are marketing repos. Contact all the local agents and tell them you interested when they get this typwe of property to market. You can usual tell a repo because it has a "chattel" notice pasted in the window, also, more often than not, theyve had everything removed, ive seen houses that have been stripped of kitchens, bathrooms and even light fittings and switches.
