Quoting images

Would it be possible for the quote button to change any 'IMG' or 'PIC' tags within that quote into 'THUMB' tags? It would make quoting posts with images work a lot better IMO.

Agreed, this is something on our development plan and hopefully after our massive server migration this month we can get this sorted for beginning of next month.

Yes, we have just finished developing the new parser that sorts through the ramblings of the poster and puts it in a meaningful and presentable way. The thumbnail for quotes is part of that project which turned out to be much bigger than we expected so sorry for the delay.

It also includes a fix to quite a few of the niggles of posting in the forums (eg. * at end for disclaimers, sub-level bullets, multliple code quotes etc)

We will be testing this all next week and hopefully put in place end of next to beginning of one after.
