OK, I know by starting this I'm risking non-attendance.

But I noticed no-one else had, and Duncan and Jason were a bit lonely last time.

Sooo...who else is going???

It's the Red Lion at Hunningham.

Yes it is...but for someone else on Tuesday! biggrin

Everyone welcome prof...although you may want to bring a map or a sat-nav...it's not TOO difficult to find, but it is out in the sticks...

I'm determined to come to one of your get togethers - but I will pick a dry day, as a lot of the journey is motorway for me. I usually go over to the Derby ones as the drive is more pleasant and a bit shorter time-wise.

Obviously things are a bit slower in the winter months but it still good to get out for a couple of hours for a real chat to PHers.

Where do you live Prof?

Stafford - about an hourish drive if I use the toll road and avoid the grey Volvos...

Now I'm wondering which route you lot take, 'cause my SatNav takes me through Stonleigh, then up towards the Airport, then down what seems to be lots of dark, twisty, single farmer's tracks hehe

Well bloody worth it when I get there tho biggrin, just hate (read won't) drive roads I don't know in the dark anymore frown

If it is dry, I may attempt it biggrin

But if we get the forecast snow - not on your nelly mates rofl

I just saw the recent forecast and if we get what is meant to be coming then I'm not sure any of us will be going far.

Oooohhhh, possibly no work as I'll never get up Sunrising Hill to Banbury scratchchin

You can't beat a bit of the white stuff smile it will give me chance to try out the 4WD on something more tricky than bumping up kerbs in Sainsbury's car park wink

See everyone on Tuesday

Well, the S2000's at the front of the drive at the moment, so tomorrow morning could be rather entertaining...although possibly for everyone else but me! eek

But assuming the roads aren't totally impassable on Tuesday, I'll bring one of the cars along...

Ali - route I take is A45, off just after the airport onto the A423 (?A429?) past the old Ryton plant, heading towards Southam, turn right onto Fosse Way after about 3-4 miles, then right at the first cross-roads between the two houses.

A423 to Princethorpe isn't it, and then the FosseWay to the cross roads and right there to Hunningham

From Ryton turn right before the fosse way on to B4453 signposted to Leamington a great road that goes past the Woodhouse Hotel/restaurant. Then go straight on at a sharp right hand bend just after The Bull Inn on the right on the outskirts of Weston Under Wetherey.

A good road in the dry!
