Car looks great, and good luck to them, but I can't help thinking that in order to score a win to commemorate the 50th anniversary of their last, they ought to have been working towards it with this car for the last couple of years or so, given the level of development at Audi and Peugeot.

This is the best, best news for sportscar racing. Now the Le Mans organisers have got a precious manufacturer in the petrol class there is a real incentive for them to keep the two classes on an even keel. Le Mans are happy to have the smaller teams, but what really floats their boat is a player in their market place who will really help lift the event to even greater heights. Aston Audi Pug and Accura(????? sometime soon)if they can keeep them all it could be 1999 all over again.

How this chimes with Astons reported problems with the Banks, I am not sure, they must have some really good sponsorship cash flowing in?

Sadly for me a commitment means that I cant go this year...........
