Had a very short debate with my missus about this goon last night.

She is a bit ignorant/care-free about politics and when I criticised Obama, she said she hoped he did what Tony Blair did for this country.

I started laying into him.....but no words came from my mouth....brain-freeze.

Except for Iraq (the deafult response being "well if it turned out we could be blown to dust in 45 minutes, you would have had a go at him then..).

I could not think of any bad things he did during his tenure.

I told her I would come back to her, so please, can somebody give me some goods/bads Mr Blair carried out so I can go home tonight and give my OH a good ear-bashing?

Clearly I am ignorant about politics too....

He's done a Paul McKenna on you too? 3-2-1, back in the room.

Try and put him out of your mind, I know....It's hard.

Then remember all the utter ste that has plagued this country over the last ten years or so.

HTH.

ETA Nice photo though........

Installed that turd-in-a-wig Broon as the Chancellor and then PM. Unforgivable even if Blair himself had been a saint.

And just as bad, made Labour electable again. They should have had Gordon Brown from 1994 onwards.

Everything Blair did was basically nasty and oppressive. And he was an irksome man with a cheesy grin.

Littered the country with speed cameras and cctv.
Politicised our police.
Created thousands of town hall non-jobs (Labour voters).
Gave councils the power to spy on many aspects of our lives.
Health & fking Safety!
Created laws to criminalise the law abiding majority (fines for putting your bin out on the wrong day etc.)
How many new stealth taxes...?????

To be fair if the previous PM was Chariman Mao i think people would rather he came back than having to put up with Brown.

Don't get me started on that utter utter ... He is to blame for the Stateist err, state we find our society in now.

Hopefully history will hold him to account for the damage he has inflicted on society.

Lined his own pockets & those of his cronies.

A complete turd, married to the road-gobbed monster.

Shudder.

Draconian laws imposed.
Illegal wars.
Labour Party donations for laws.
Police force castrated.
Infringements on Civil Liberties (continuing along at a rapid rate now too).
Seeking to obtain money hand over fist (very typical of a Labour Minister though).

I have mixed feelings about the guy. They veer towards the negative.

Making him the middle east wotsit was the stupidest thing ever. Really impartial isn't he!
