I never fail to be amused by the irony of religious people telling atheists to burn in hell.
Thats not ironic, religious people believe that people who don;t follow god will go to hell. What is ironic is a atheist ranting about "religious nuts" and saying they should burn in a hell he doesn't believe in ?

Isn't there a law against this sort of thing?

...ahhh maybe not.
I think a campaign of ridicule may be more effective.

Calm down dear, starting this 'campaign' makes you as bad as 'them'.
Do you see?
Aye. Time to use a primitive language they understand. Fighting fire with fire.Do you see?
If many of them die... well, where's the harm in that?
We surived the Black Death. We had the Renaissance. We've been through the Age of Enlightenment. The Age of Reason is long gone. We're now in the Information Age. Tiem for that to end and enter the Age of the end of excuses for stupidity...

Could you (i.e. the athiest extremists) and them (religious extremists) go to the Moon and fight 'fire with fire' out there, let everyone else get on with their lives. Might even make a nice night time show for us back on Earth.
Cheers.

Dear Archbish,
I know you're a nice chap'n'evryfink but you're a bit mistaken about God and Darwin. Errm. No. Darwin isn't a God or anything he had a really good theory. And we all reckon it's true. Even some of your Christians reckon it's true as well!
But some nutters have been writing to Attenborough and saying he ought to credit God in his TV programms, innit!
So I think your're a t

Signed,
Matt

Dear Archbish,
I didn't know you thought Darwin probably has it right as well.
And it's very nice to kno you hold me in such high regard. It's nice to hear you think of me the same I think of you.
Are you sure these nutters are just nutters? They just like writing to important people to gratify their inner insecurities?
Signed,
Matt

kwits to hate non-believers, but does not allow non-believers to hate them back. That's an impartial law! Anti-human. How are we going to keep our wars going if non-believers are not allowed to hate back?!Seriously (as I've been speaking in ironic jest!):
A law or contract born out duress or terrorism, should not be recognised by those with a higher sense of morality. I ask if it is even morally legal? In the long run it serves to create divide, not cure it, as one side has a legal higher ground over the otherand is just a matter of time before it gets abused (see OT for e.g.). It should be changed to imply that no hatred may be born over religious matters (but they know that would be impossible. And thus, I come full-circle).
For one thing, ridicule has got us nowhere, but what the hey, it's legal!
