Yea, saw that the other day, newer model on its way?..........there selling a few things on fleabay at the moment.............mind you I would like the interior for my R8.
Yeah that would be because Tom would have gotten his W427..
Lucky buggar, will definitely like to keep an eye out for that one when it comes up for sale. Do like the GTS very tempting, but Mrs and bank manager says buggar off.. S600VXR said:
Is this thing for real?????Why is it that every P.O.S. stokko wreck with stickers that shows up on these shores is some kind of V8 supercar research vehicle? Mate let me be the first (or 100th) to tell you it's not, aerodynamics, wind-tunnels, £750 alloys?.....gotta make you laugh, and cry.
sorry , I'll go put my head in the fridge now.

Having said that, I'm sure it will be a fun car for someone at the right price. It sounded quite fierce inside too - something to do with the position of the air intake and the lack of noiseproofing. Must be a prototype thing

Exactly!
Its just a sh1tbox VN Exec that some tool has painted up to try and pass off to some other unknowing tool.
Love this bit:
It has the 3.8ltr Buick V6 Electronic ignition (This was before the cars time really) but the Touring cars used the V8 Carburetter engines which only produced the same BHP.
That alone should tell you something about the credibility of the seller.
Tell em they're dreaming...
(If you have never watch the movie The Castle, can recommend it)
It may have been used as a test car for aero dynamics, but since then it has been chav'ed with. Supprised it isn't a rusty bucket of bolts by now. Loved my VN though when I had it, as it took quiet a while to fall in love with it when they first came out. Ended up selling it for $300 in Oz, and that was 6 years ago! If you want a bash about, it would be alright, but they aren't that fantastic. Especially only having the 3.8l in it. Would be a different story if it was the old 5.0L though, that was a brilliant engine, (of course nothing over the 5.7l).
