The purpose of this thread (as a spin-off of the 'disapponting' thread) is for you to rant at your fellow SAS members.

We know the issues at hand - alledged or otherwise.

So now is your opportunity to step forward and vent your anger/frustration/annoyance at anyone else within the group.

However, I will make this clear. Any irrelevant posts; or those that are deemed inappropriate will be removed. If someone requests a post to be removed; then I'll do so.

Now where's the finger tapping smiley .......

Feck it.

Let me make a start ......

1: To the persons concerned who have caused unjustified aggro within the group in the past 48 hours or so - are you men enough to step forward?

2: Geoff - whatever happened to:

We had the team all setup and ready to go ...... rolleyes

3: To the complete and utter MORON who, at the 2007 SAS xmas bash, did not buy a secret santa gift. And when asked (as I had the secret santa list), he responded with "I couldn't be arsed". To this day I'm still gobsmacked by it. In response, all I'm saying is toblerone (that's an 'in-joke').

4: To the 2 people who did not pay their way at the same 2007 SAS xmas bash, and did a bunk ..... after consuming copious amounts of alcohol.

5: To me ... for not buying Nigels E34 when I had the chance. I still kick myself to this day.

You see - I'm just as guilty as the rest of us.

So, bring it on .....

Hmmmmmmm...ok!

1) Pretty darn annoyed with the person/persons who have put Kinky in such a stty situation and even more annoyed that they have remained extremely quiet hoping it will all blow over (not gonna happen!).

2) I get peeved by people who have absolutely no consideration for others hard work. Say for example you decide not to come out to an SAS meal involving gifts, fine, but atleast tell someone otherwise it royally fecks up the food order and the gift exchange! Furthermore, answer ya bloody e-mails afterwards too!

3) Am I allowed to rant at my car? hehe

Isn't that an indigestion tablet?

1. Pissed off with the coward who has put Kinky through the mill and won't even be man (or woman) enough to take it on the chin.

2. Pissed off with Audi. Why is there always something wrong with either an RS6, an S3, or an S2, or some combination of those three cars?

3. Bored of wet and/or cold weather. I remember we had some sunshine back in May 2007 right before the wettest Le Mans trip ever. It seems to have rained almost continuously since then.

4. Don't like paying £40 for my share of a meal when i had £20 worth of food/drink and i'm paying for other people's alcohol. Most of you drink sometimes and drive sometimes so it kinda balances out, but i NEVER drink on these nights out. But if anyone is drinking and lives on my route i am happy to provide a lift smile

5. I think we should chop and change evenings out more - some people really struggle to make Thursday evenings, right TC?

I don't think any of the information above will be a surprise to anyone biggrin

To be fair, the older one seems to go wrong less. I just need to find the time/space to take the wheels off and clean the brakes up. frown

That's not a bad call. Most of the time people do chuck more money in if they are drinking so it does sometimes balance out but neither me or Cat drink.

Before you all lynch me, it IS the amnesty thread. hehe

The thought has crossed my mind but Cat won't drive me and I'm too far out to be picked up.

I'll just have to make some more meets over my way. wink

Can I amnesty myself? I moved into Surrey about 6 months ago (Surbiton area) and keep thinking about coming to some of the meets but keep putting it off.

Is there any space for a ginger-haired Sportka owner to come and say hello and then stand shyly in the corner?

If you're ginger, you have no chance of standing quietly in the corner! wink

In all seriousness though get yourself along to a meet, we're a good bunch and welcome new members to the Thames Valley section.

Phil, there is always a space in the corner for newbies, just bring lots of money as you'll have to buy the beers all night, and have this piss taken out of your car, if you can survive that then you are welcome to come back biggrin

OK, here we go...

1. On hoons, everyone needs to stick to the rear mirror rule - if you lose the car behind then slow down a bit unless they specifically tell you not to wait for them.

2. On hoons, please stop using the radio to call that the road ahead is all clear. It's fking dangerous and totally irresponsible. Anything could change once you've safely passed... animal in the road, car come out of a drive or side turn, etc. If you overtake and know the people behind you will be stuck because of limited vision then slow down a bit and wait for them to catch up.

3. On hoons, it's fair enough to make progress on non-residential roads but 30/40 limits are there for a reason... It's not big, clever or remotely skilful to fly through a 30/40 limit doing 40-60mph. There are plenty of safe roads where we can push on before and after these limits.

4. Going against the flow with this one, but I think details of hoons should be taken off-line. Post up that your organising it, and maybe even a rough date, and ask people to PM you or put their name down if interested. Dates and details should be kept off the forum in my view. Has anyone read the blog about the guy in prison for having an accident on a hoon? The hoon details were copied from PH and used by the Police in court...

5. To the person(s) who started this whole cocking episode off: Have some respect and dignity for Kinky and us - even though you have none for yourself. Just remember that Kinky knows who you are and I'm sure if you take the p!ss by expecting to just carry on as if nothing happened, then I think he can only be expected to maintain your anonymity for so long before realizing that the right thing to do is send us all an email with who you are and why you did what you did. Personally I think Kinky should give you 24 hours to apologise or publish. I've already said that so nothing new there! Even if you can't explain it, just an apology would go a long way. And a pint.

6. Let's not leave the Xmas do organising until November again this year please? Happy to get involved, find a venue, take and hold deposits, etc; but not when it's last minute! We were incredibly lucky this year that Nigel and his establishment were available! Can we nominate a small'ish committee to take the lead, throw some ideas around, have some beers, and get something booked - they'll still need help with stuff from lots of others no doubt... I think that this year may be a biggy and we can expect some guests from other regions and of course the tunnellers!

7. Ben - stop talking about buying a new car. Just fking get on with it. hehe

8. Diets make you irritable.

9. When are we going back to Sweeney Todd? I need someone else to blame for eating pie.

10. S/RS Audi's are awesome when they work, which makes up for the time that they don't!
