Are some of my posts being deleted? I don't mind at all, you're perfectly at liberty to do so plus I realise that sometimes they're a little "raw". I just wondered whether I was going mad or not.

Cheers.

Looks as if mods have seen fit to delete a couple of your posts, but no more than that.

Yeah - I thought as much and, to be honest, they were probably deserved. I just thought that it was normally followed by a bit of an arsey email (well, if Gazboy was doing the moderation, anyway wink).

Landlord = 1 post of yours 2 days ago was deleted, (26th Jan at 15:30) however I think what you're referring to might be a small glitch at the moment, which means things aren't appearing as quickly as they are being posted?

Yeah - I got an email about that one, and agreed with the sentimant in an "oops" kind of way.

It is posts made yesterday that I'm talking about - one of the T-Shirt hell thread, for instance.

We have been suffering from a bit of the old 'timewarp' syndrome while the servers are transferred, so it sounds like it is all down to that.

Unusual that they didn't appear at all though, normally they will turn up within a few seconds/minutes of post being pressed.

Weird - they've not been deleted by a mod (everyone has notes in their profile that mods can see, and any action that we make is recorded in a separate tab; certainly nothing over and above the one I mentioned from a couple of days ago.

Strange things are afoot?!

Because it wasn't deleted by a mod. If something is deleted on PH it is still stored in the database, it is just not on the forum. These posts are not in the database, so obviously never made it on the the site in the first place.

They do, where they can.

When we delete a post the email that you get cannot come from a specific mod because in the case of wkers you'd be showing them your personal email address, which wouldnt be overly wise.

Generally I use the good old binned tag.
