Need to sabotage a back boiler

Any heating engineers on here? I need to stop a Baxi Bermuda from working without evidence of badness.

I'm not doing anything naughty, of course- it's just a hypothetical question.

Just thought i should pipe in and mention that if you take anything more than the cover over the control panel off you could well be committing a criminal offence, before you start thinking about criminal damage.

Oh, and if the LL has the slightest inkling you have had a hand in decommissioning his boiler you can forget seeing the deposit again.

This should be under "general Gassing" not pie and piston.

Sad when it happens, but maybe if someone plays with a boiler for financial gain/taking the p**s it's what they deserve

Have you considered moving somewhere and paying more rent so you get better facilities , i'e a more efficient boiler

Remove the circuit board and then wire up the priciest looking components to the mains.

They will fry.

Put the circuit board back.

Call the plumber and say the boiler don't work.

Put on a hat and coat - your landlord will get around to replacing the boiler or you by about November. Perhaps this year. Perhaps not.
