Think as above it's going to cause more problems but don't think we have much choice! mechsympathy said:
Don't know, but I dread the day. We've been told that mixing it with jam in a sandwich works but thankfully MiniMechs sucks it out of the syringe so hard you don't have to depress the plunger
Ahhhh just you wait mate, MiniDavi used to do that - just this latest batch of meds - you can smell it from the next room, frankly I don't blame him not wanting it. Nothing quite like having a facefull of orange flavoured antibiotic and spittle to start your day.

we were going to try that, problem is it's VERY strongly flavoured and perfumed (why the hell can't they just make childrens medicine bland, or milk flavour?!)
To this day, our eldest hates the taste of Calpol. As a baby, however, she didn't mind it mixed with milk.

Inject medicine into their mouth and then hold their nose.
You feel very guilty when they look at you with that look of betrayal, but it does work.
+ 2 its what GPs do and it does work, although you feel bad at the time. You feel very guilty when they look at you with that look of betrayal, but it does work.
