Right I'm off to the Alps this afternoon driving

For some snow related shananigans, Sainte Foy here we come, 80cm of powdery stuff over the past few days, boarding & skiing bounce

Though the avalanche risk is rather yikes so shall be playing safe until the risk is otherwise.

Anybody else off this week or already out playing in it biggrin Hopefully we won't get stuck in the French national strikes tomorrow!!

Apologies to those stuck in offices drooling at the thought of the white stuff

wink Always with a lid on, my mate who came out a couple of years back got choppered off the piste after a collision, head injuries & concussion the lot. He had refused to wear one up till that point. He does now!

At least in Sainte Foy the most your likely to bump into is the odd tree, rather than fellow plankers biglaugh

Not been back long from Whistler.

Looking to get another trip in pretty dam soon though.

Then nothing till Feb 2010, when I start my BASI (snowboard) course in Verbier for 10 weeks.

We had a week in Sainte Foy over New Year, only one powder(ish) day but still some of the best skiing out there!

Crystal Dark was more than a little carved up though wink

Got back from the Alps on Saturday. The snow was excellent so you're in for a great time. A lot of the higher pistes had off piste conditions for some of the time we were there too, which was fun!

Oi oi there ol' boy. I noticed your photos on FB. Looked rather amazing.....

I've just ordered a pair of boots so as soon they arrive, I'll have to try them out right away! Fancy popping over for a weekend in the snow?
