Magnecor 8.5mm leads
Discussion
Mk1 Tuscan s 2001 (spd6)
Bit concerned that when the spark plug cover plate is fitted it seems as though the leads are tightly packed and possibly squashed in around no5 and no6 cylinder because the plate does not sit down flush to the cam cover when fitting even if they are routed correctly.
Can't be doin any good if the leads are squashed (resistance causes heat)
Just wondered if its worth fitting spacer washers between the plug and cam cover then sealing with silicon.
Has anybody tried this? or is there no course for concern
Gonna try it anyway
Will let ya know
