Dell Laptop battery issues

We have a number of oldish dell latittudes and inspirons. All of them seem to have lost the ability to retain charge which is a bit of an arse.

I could go and buy new ones for £100 each or take a gamble on Ebay and pay half the price for something unknown.

Any other options? Is there a way to recondition them?

Seem to recall their bin fodder... give Dell a call and see if you can get a deal...
