Anyone got a Remoska?
Discussion
My in-laws go to Spain in their caravan (I know!) every winter and always take their remoska with them as it's v cheap to run and they can use it outside. They absolutely swear by it - esp for slow cooking casserole type meals but they do fish as well and miss it so much when they come back home for the summer that they have been known to have it in their kitchen and use it instead of their cooker. I would say worth a punt for sure.

Thanks. I'll give it a 'whirl'.

If it's only reallyuseful for slow cooking, why would you buy a Remoska at £80-odd rather than a slow cooker from Tescos for £9.99?
I've been having a look at them for the same reason. It seems they might be handy for some things but I've read that they are very much slower than a conventional oven to both come to temperature and actually cook.
I'm not convinced yet.
