Blackberry bluetooth contacts list
Discussion
I'm hoping I'm not the only one who's had the following problem so am hoping someone can help me.
I've just bought the Bluetooth "cradle" for my CLK CAB to enable me to connect my Blackberry curve. This is fine and all works well except it's just started to sync with my contacts database which consists of nearly 5,000 names!! This is a nightmare because the search capability through the merc radio only allows you to get to the first letter of any name which means I have to scroll through hundreds of names before I get to the one I want - in other words it's a function that I can't use.
I want to know if there's a way of filtering say 100 contacts to sync with the Merc phone system as this is all I'll need on a day to day basis. I don't want to delete my contacts. Any help much appreciated.

Copy the 100 contacts to your SIM, then change the bluetooth options to not send the address book contact on the BB. Should work.
I gather you have the HFP module? Plain black looking one. The silver/blue SAP module only works with SIM contacts anyway but has much better reception. That's what I use on my W221 via a Bold.
