garmin nuvi 350...possible to make a loop trip?
Discussion
Hi guys,
looking to do a 'random drive' soon, and have plotted loads of way points which i can put in to make sure it gets me to go on the right roads, but it will only let you have 1 via point at a time. is it possible to get it to have all of them at once? i can still do the loop...i would just have to say get to point 2 via point 1; then after getting to point 2, say go to point 4 via point 3 and so on. would be nice if you can plot a route in somehow, like you can do in google maps, then put it onto the nuvi.
anyone know if this is possible?
cheers.

Sorry, I don't believe it is possible. The NUVI won't accept routes from Mapsource, so i doubt it will from Google.

If you add the via as Favourites, it could work, but not ideal !!

What I do with a multi-waypoint route using a nüvi 660 is to store each route waypoint as a 'favourite'. For example, if I want to go from A to B via 5 waypoints 001 to 005, I enter 'go to B' and then enter 001 as a 'Via Point'. As I approach 001, I press 'go to 002', then 'Replace Current Via Point'.
It takes a little pre-planning, but is really very simple.
One tip - position your 'Via Points' on the road to the next point. Thus if you need to turn at a junction, don't put the 'Via Point' at the junction, put it just after the junction on the correct road towards the next waypoint.
