Sorry all.
Attempting to watch some s
tty Van Damme film on 5.
Remember seeing Kick boxer and the like when i was much younger, and thinking it was the best thing ever (mind you, i was young)
Why dont they just retire??? Its the same old s
t over and over again.
And dont get me started on Steven Segal. One minute he is on an aircraft carrier with a bird off baywatch knocking f
k into everyone/everything, the next he is lurking on channel 5 looking a lot like my pissed uncle, walking with the sort of gait where only HE will ever know if he has actually s
t his pants.
They must have made fortunes, why dont they just leave gracefully??
Before i go though, lets all spare a thought for steven- loosing Kelly le Brock would be enough to make anyone follow through.
Rant over, going to dig out Weird Science

If they are repeating the same old stuff its usually because they are broke and take what they can get. Taking what you can get means what sold last time, but at a lower fee. Broke can mean lots of things: drugs, gambling, booze, third wife ran off with the lot and the gardener.
Van Dammes new film...

The film establishes Jean-Claude Van Damme, who is playing himself in an alternate reality, as an out of luck actor. He's out of money, his agent can't find him a decent production, and the judge in a custody battle is inclined to give custody of his daughter over to his ex-wife. He returns to his childhood home of Brussels: where hes still considered a national icon.
When he goes into a post office to receive a wire transfer, he finds himself in the middle of a hostage situation. Due to an unfortunate mistake, the police believe Van Damme is responsible for the crime. As the events are played from different perspectives, Van Damme finds himself acting as a hero to protect the hostages, as well as a negotiator as the presumed perpetrator. Van Damme is forced to play a different kind of hero by accepting responsibility for crimes he didnt commit and the life mistakes that he made.

Someone told me (and can't be bothered to check it out) that SS produces all his own movies, so basically get most of the cash from them.
And presumably controls the "s
tted pants" budget also???He must make some money though, these days it looks like he has had to fight his way out of Greggs the Bakers, dodging all the salad on the way

The last Steven Segal film I watched made ME feel embarrassed for the soggy old clown going through the motions, with his pudgy furrowed-brow 'grimace' still plastered across his face.Attempting to watch some s
