hi all just got back into this addictive little motor, just bought a mini 40 mulberry red top condition, rust free, nightmare, scared to take it out.The reason i bought it was to boot it round the lanes by my new house, ain't happened, so... now looking for another, i've seen this 13i, the thing is it's metallic grey, i think it looks lush, is this charcoal grey or some other name i can't find. it's got decals on the bottom of the doors. Cannot remember if they have 'john cooper' or cooper sport, is there to anyones knowledge a grey stroke charcoal cooper sports, it's a p reg let me know asap thanks, also is the best stone chip protection the 3 m film and is there a cut or kit for the classic mini ,..........

Anthracite Grey is the colour you are describing.

There were various stickers offered by dealers and spare parts purveyers including John Cooper's signature as used on the RSP Cooper models on the bonnet stripes. They are available from the said parts places if you need any spares.

I've not seen anyone do a kit for the protection film, but I've thought about using it on the high impact areas too. Not sure if it's really worth the bother on a mini, I guess it depends on the cost, the ease of application and how many other steps you've taken to curb rust and paintwork damage.

Phil.
