Bloody mealy mouthed PC BBC.
Story on the news last night about a number of schools with no pupils who have english as their first language. Fair enough.
One of them is in Rochdale (not far from me).
They interview the head and kids and stuff....good story so far, no piss boiling.
Then they round it off with, "The schools is almost at the level of the national average" as a positive. But then that means the schools results are below the national average....
Not unexpected given the language barriers, but why try to spin a negative into a positive. The article would have stood without the line.....
I have done less well(not worse) than expected with this rant. But it least it nearly reached the PH average.
