The missus and I are in Manchester for a couple of night in February, around my birthday and I was looking for a restaurant recommendation.

We're already booked into Tom's Chop House on the Friday night for a fix of traditional British, so if anyone has a recommendation for something a bit different on the Saturday, that'd be great.

Chopraya and East is East have been suggested so far, so I'd be glad to hear any options on those two as well...

Cheers in advance...

Chaophraya is very good if you want a Thai. Try one of Paul Heathcote's restaurants.

Le Petit Blanc opposite Chaophraya is pretty good, as is Lounge 10 on Tib Lane. I'd rate the experience in Lounge far better than Blanc.
