E30 325i LSD which? 3.64 or 3.91 ratio

I am going to get an LSD for my track car, but which ratio do I want and what is the difference?

3.91 gives the quickest acceleration so would be the one I'd have. Unless you can track down a rarer 4.10 ratio.

Worth having a look at the tag on your current diff first, to see what ratio that is.

3.91 is fitted to the 325 sports

3.64 is also from 325i Sports, generally the earlier ones so I think from about '84 to '87. The 3.91 will be from later Sports, and as said will be lower geared so sharper acceleration/lower top speed which would be better suited to almost every track I would have thought. Aren't the 4.10 ratio diffs from 318is', and in the smaller case, or am I talking rubbish again?

ETA, I think the 4.10's are like the proverbial rocking horse poo anyway....

£250 for a 3.91. let me get mine delivered and fitted, if it is any good I will pass on the number of the place i am getting it from.
