To be fair, so do I (last time was a particularly unfortunate incident involving a queue on the M3, my old Z3 & a new pair of trousers going straight in the bin when I finally got home). But neither you or I pretend to ruin run the country

.com? IIRC the GDP graphs the government show you include house prices too, so that 'crash' just looks like a slowing down whereas in reality we were a little in recession there too.
