Best to replace the idler and tensioner spring too - after all they gotta last another 60k odd.

I know it's good practice to replace cambelt tensioners, but on these I don't usually do so, as they are very well made and I normaly find them to be as good as new.
Check that the bearing isn't noisy and then slowly push the tensioner plunger back in a vice and then check that it fully extends itself when released, (it will extend slowly) and if it's o/k, push the plunger back again and lock it with a pin or allen key through the hole provided for this purpose before refitting.

Be prepared for the power steering fluid going everywhere - they have a loopy siphoning arrangement. Sheer madness.

I assumed that it was the car in the op's profile, which will definitely be belt drive cam.

I'm pretty sure they're all cambelts, regardless of generation.

Well bugger me. The ZZ blocks have chains. Everyday is a school day.

We even owned one of those and didn't know that.
