A rather randon post this. Basically, i was thinking about what i eat today and 90% of it seems to be wheat. Surely that cant be too good for me. Here is a typical days consumption:

3 weetabix with milk
Cereal Bar
Kellogs Mini Breaks
3 sandwiches usually with chicken, ham or tuna in (3/4 slices of brown bread usually)
bannana
2 x hot cross bun
Usually for tea something like chicken in bread crumbs, or fish, or shepherds pie, or stew.
Generous portion of melon
6 x crackers (crackerbread is the brand)
2 x slices of white toast with butter and jam

Perhaps a few other snacks thrown in here and there. Dont have much time to eat anymore than this, probably why im under weight. Anyway, does anyone have any tips for what i foods that i could eat to replace a lot of this wheat?

Takes me 6 slices of bread to make 3 sandwiches.

Anyway, nothing wrong with wheat, if you like it, eat it. If you are underweight, eat more.

I really wouldn't worry too much, particularly if as you say you're a skinny little sod. Personally I'd be replacing those cereal bars (horrible things, full of refined sugars) with fruit but I really don't think it's going to make any difference to anything.

ETA - I bet it has more calories than you think. There's over 1000 calories of bread alone, those cereal bars will be another few hundred, couple of hundred in a big banana, plus your main meal...

Didnt realise cereal bars were packed with refined sugars. Does the same go for those kellogs mini breaks? Yeah im going to replace those i think with things like carrott sticks, apples etc
