DOOR LOCK LUBRICATION ?

what lubrication do you guys recommend for the door locks ?

Whilst WD40 will ease the situation in the short term it is not really classified as a prime lubricator.

Linkages and hinges prefer 3 in 1 oil. All IMHO.

Some sort of dry teflon spray might work and has the advantage of not picking up dust and dirt.

Most bike shops sell it - typically comes in a red and black can - can't remember the brand off hand...

Funny, just done mine last night, I used 3 in 1 and it appears to have worked ok.

graphite powder from a locksmith is the proper stuff, wont attract more dust,or moisture to freeze....as a 2nd best good old 3 in 1 oil
