M600 - Is it going to happen? Has anyone ordered one?

The (quite meagre) info and photos on the Noble website are drool-inducing - the promise of a 600+ bhp "analogue, not digital" (i.e. with a clutch, and so a sort of visceral alternative to "flicky-paddle" efforts) hypercar, driven across the US with a Porsche Carrera GT for comparison (rather than the 911 Turbo of Lee's time)! So, has anyone seen/driven/ordered this car? Is it really, definitely going to show up? If so, when? And if so, what will the quality be like? And the price? (Presumably £ 100,000+... +++?)

If Noble really gets the quality as well as the dynamics right, at barely a car a week, it should be mindblowing. That, though, is a big 'if'... Or is it...? [Clarkson-type delivery.] Opinions, experiences and insights, please!

You pose a fair question but most of us here are sick at the promises, suggestions and speculation on this subject. I'm past caring, if it comes it comes - either way I get to drive one of Lee's most adequate products ever and with no wating!

Fingers crossed, it should be out this year. I dont think you'll find much info about it at the moment though.

I was up for one, got fed up waiting.

I am also slightly peeved as I have owned two Nobles, M12 and M400, both loved, not so much as a how are you or invitation to visit and have a look at the progress.

Hence the GT2.

Interesting replies - you all seem real Noble enthusiasts (as am I), but somewhat p****ed off by the scant feedback/seemingly inadequate customer relations from the factory.

This seems a shame. Maybe Noble needs to employ or assign someone, if only part time, to fulfil this role. The M600 - if it ever appears - will by definition be a very niche, expensive car, and surely potential customers need to be kept happy and keen. (Simon Hucknall was good at this, but left some time ago for Bentley.)

Maybe the best we can say in their defence is that they're a small company of mainly engineers, there was that, er, trouble with Lee, it's not an easy, quick or cheap job to develop a reliable, high quality hypercar in what is, industry-wise, almost a tin shed and... the product, if and when it sees the light of day, may truly be great.

Well, guess it's just wait and see. It would be a shame if Le Crunch killed it off, though.

I recall Nickytwohats went up to the factory and test drove it (a prototype) a while ago. Try the Search function.
I'm sure everyone here wishes the factory well and hope that the M600 will be a resounding success. I'm sure they also hope that the dark period is over when communication with, and service to, M12/M400 owners was pretty well non-existent. I have brought 2 brand new Nobles - would I buy a third? Hmmm.. "More fool you" springs to mind.

I had a deposit down, but like others got fed up waiting.

However, my local dealer has kept me updated with info every few months since the still-born launch of the M15.

Yes I have driven the prototype. I think four others have too.

As to updates you're right the factory could have done much better BUT their reasoning and decision was that they would not make any promises they couldn't keep (after the stillborn M14 & 15).

Because there wasn't much outbound communication I called them frequently Peter Boutwood and team have told me what they've been able to at every step, and told me they can't tell me when they can't.

I'm sure there will be good news soon.
