Anyone one going on this trackday at Silverstone? Myself and a friend are coming over from Ireland on the Friday and returning Sunday

I should be there shaking down the Winter upgrades to my Griff. Hopefully I'll be joined by another couple of TVR's. Looking forward to it!

Hi Guys,

look forward to seeing you guys there. We'll be in a Black E46 M3 with Irish Plates. I've not done any trackdays for a few years but can't wait. Hope it's not frosty!

I'll be the in my GT3 with a mate in his M6 and possibly another 911.

I'll post up my garage number later in the week. Might be able to squeeze another car in if anyone needs it.

Hi PetrolTed,

I'd be delighted to get a couple of laps with you. I hope the weather is okay come the weekend. I don't fancy coming over from Ireland to find that the track is snowbound!

Hope to see you then,

Regards

Mark

Fingers, toes, testicles and everything else. I live just down the road from Silverstone and we have several inches of snow and it's still coming down.

And I can't drive like this; http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jV9SAYvGJsw

(The snow bit starts about 2 minutes in.)

The forecast doesn't look great, either. What's Goldtrack's cancellation policy?

We've got four cars out so I hope the snow melts!! Gold Track will give you another day if it gets snowed off.

The snow's been melting here today and the forecasts I've been looking at all give above zero temperatures for the rest of the week.

I cannot believe it. I had originally booked cheap flights to the ring with the view to renting something always on the basis that the flights were disposable if the weather at the ring was poor. I decided it looked bad and thought why not go to Silverstone and drive the GP circuit, it's bound to be okay. I cannot believe my fall back is looking dodgy.

Anyway if Silverstone is snowed off I'll be seriously pee'd off as it takes a bit of organising to get the Friday and Monday off from work, and the pass from the good lady wife.

Really? The BBC are predicting heavy snow for Thursday and Friday (for Northampton) and snow showers for Saturday, temperatures barely above freezing during the day and well below at night. But then, the BBC forecasts tend to be pretty rubbish.

Well I ignored the snow but, I just looked at the temperatures smile

Anyone who has booked should have had an email from Melindi asking for your contact number (or confirming it if she has it). She said she will advise Friday evening on whether the day will run or not.

If it's on i'll be there with 2 customers, 1 x Exige and 1 x Yellow GT3, Garage 4C
