At least he went.

During a time of unprecendented global recession and huge worlwide issues, our chancellor was too scared to go and cancelled the trip.

It's OK, though. He's just the Chancellor. You know, the one who deals with our financial issues. No need for him to be there sticking his slug brows in, in a conversation about finance, and stuff.

How stupid do Labour think we are? Do they really think that they can get away with allowing Slugeyes to take the flak whilst Brown and Mandelson actually do his job for him?

When things have calmed down, and Darling brows is removed for being not very good, do they think the blame will follow him like a nasty fart from a toilet cubicle?

I hate these people more than I hate Tesco.

The saviour of the world economy and self-appointed Captain of Global Industry must be available to talk at all times, don't you know?

Brown normally waits until all the people and cameras have gone before signing anything...

Of course! Darling is a 'sacrificial anode', no more. Or to take an analogy from nature, a deciduous tree pumps all its crap and st into the leaves, then drops them smile

What p*sses me off is that if they want someone to spout off innaccurate and misleading forecasts about the future economy whilst not going to important meetings and never having their eyebrows plucked, I'd do it for half the price.

It's probably his recruitment consultant. I'd be looking for a new job if i was him.

The only kind of people who would headhunt Brown are the ones who carry a menacing look and a pitchfork.

More likely to be Mandelson ringing Brown to see if he can put a good word in with that guy he knows in Admin.

So Brown claims the credit for saving the worlds banks. So I assume he takes the blame for the riots in France, they dont look too impressed!
