Expecting to get absolutely flamed for this but....

...I got home from work to find my missus inexplicably watching said programme on ITV2. When I moaned, she told me there was nothing else on...

...so I sat eating my dinner listening to this garbage. It was literally, the worst programme I have ever seen!

I was expecting it to be bad having seen the adverts and knowing what a vacuous air-head that bint is, but I was not ready for the vomit inducing, cring-worthy, pustulous, dispicable, fking terrible tripe that it was.

I almost threw my knife at the TV when the idiot asked "what makes you think you could be my friend" - an ego-trip farce.

Anyone else unfortunate enough?

Watch it at your peril. Never again.

I just don't care though. She's a rich, blond with a good body - what's not to like? I admit, it would be painful to hear her speak but my interest in her doesn't stretch to conversation or friendship.

I watched the film House of Wax the other week, just to see her get her get a spike through the head. Stopped watching after that.

I though DAVE had put pay to this problem - okay so you might have seen Topgear & QI 6 times already - but it still beats the st out of the toss your mrs is watching!

I did see the advert for this program.... smashshoot..... and that was quite enough.

From the trailers, this looks like the worst, most self indulgent nonsense I've ever seen - far worse than Big brother and far worse than "celebrity" big brother.

Why would you want to be a friend with someone who is so self absorbed, so far removed from reality and so disconnected from the normal world as this? You would have to be the most superficial, shallow, naive person to believe that once she's got her publicity that she would want to be your "friend".

Surely the people that have "entered" this will have to become as shallow as she is just to ingratiate themselves to want to become a friend to someone like this.

Having seen the 'movie' she could suck a football through a hosepipe so yes, I would.

However, she'd have to be subject to some serious degrading st.

Where's the door?

Yup. You should have seen the "contestants" - a classic cross-section of British society.

It was, as I said, a complete ego-trip for the blonde one.

It was actually hilarious seeing her choose a contestant to ride with her in a car to a red-carpet event. As they pretended to talk in the car, you could clearly see Paris ignoring her and pulling smiles into the camera...or maybe she was struggling with the Essex accent.

Whatever, it was turd of the most steaming variety.

You say it yourself, but you'd hardly expect this to be an intellectually stimulating programme would you.

It's like women's telephone conversations, if you've ever listened in, they talk the most useless rubbish imaginable.

You've just described the target audience who I'm sure will lap up this steaming pile of an excuse for a programme.

I would rather staple my eyelids shut than watch just 10 seconds of this rubbish.

I prefer her other film.

But, she's not even THAT good looking.

Don't like her one bit. Its this whole 'being a celeb for doing SFA' that grinds my gears. And the sad people that apply for these shows need a big slap!!

I just can't wait until she is old, her entrance is like a jellyfish, and nobody thinks she is attractive anymore.

I found myself in the same situation as the OP last night, and overheard her talking to one of the girls in a limo.

Random Essex sg: "So what don't you like about being famous"
Paris Hilton: "People using me for fame"

Erm, wait a second. You're making a show about finding a friend on TV and you don't like people using you for 'fame'? Surely that's the only reason people are on this show, nobody really cares about you as a person you fking bint
