Yeah it's alot of fun, a good way to spend an afternoon.
Still think it would have been better with a S1.

Hi Ant
I was doing a Walshy training day at North Weald, when the Apache turned up. Thankfully had someone with a camera who captured it.
I didn't even realise it was there till I turned round a cone to see it hovering about 100 yards directly in front of me. Was one of those WTF moments

I'd like to see the new Exige s 240 do the power lap, I should imagine it would move up a few places now with the more horse power, bigger brakes ect.
The 220 Exige S went round in 1:25.1 over a second quicker than the n/a exige!!Edited by TOENHEEL on Wednesday 11th February 11:41

Oh yeah but the "s" will always be quicker than the n/a wet or dry.
No doubt, but probably not "as much" as some would hope. The "s" has more weight and if you watch the videos closely, you'll note that the S had quite a bit more body roll than the NA. On the track, the NA is very quick car despite the lacking low-mid-range grunt and is also lighter (lower center of gravity too)!Besides, I wouldn't be surprised if the S (regardless if 220/240) sufferes/suffered from heat-soak.

Just noticed your pushing 275bhp!!! whats that like? Me and a friend are considering upping the BHP soon :-)
Are you going down the water cooled route (ie: Hangar111)- they are adverstising 283bhp and 182 ft-lbs now?The Gotham ecu & injector upgrade will increase the power to the region of between 240-250bhp. This kit to supply is £995 plus VAT. This also includes the injector fly leads required.
