Video: Biofuel Bentley

Teaser video promises fastest Bentley. Ever.

This tiny clip from Bentley shows a new biofuel-powered supercar. And, er, that’s about all we know sadly. Bentley is keeping tight-lipped about the details of this car ahead of its official reveal at the Geneva show this March.

All we can tell is that it is based on the Continental GT, and will have a 12-cylinder powerplant running on biofuel that is apparently the most powerful that Bentley have ever produced.

Hope we didn’t overwhelm you with all of that detail, folks.

Apparently Her Majesty has a bio fuelled Rolls (or is it Bentley) at her disposal.

Perhaps our bio fuelled race car project which formed the basis as an application for a 2009 Queens Award may be quite appropriate smile

So that will be all the rich folk thinking they are saving the planet while driving it, or thinking they are trendy.

What does 'biofuel' mean? I'm guessing it won't be a V10 TDi running on chip fat,so that means ethanol or something like all the Surburbans and Excursions with 'hybrid' or 'bio-green' or whatever badges that were everywhere last time I was in the States. Can you buy that in Europe 'cause my local Tesco sure as hell doesn't sell it.

No, it's bioethanol produced from the fermentation of crops.
