I usually run a million miles from threads like this (and here I am starting one!) but following on from that utter cack Monaro song, I've just driven home, about 60 miles, and had a selection of Pendulum blasting out, and it struck me that it's the ideal HSV soundtrack.

- It's Loud
- It's Brash
- It's Fast

and most of all

- It's Australian!!

Saw them live last month. Top, top band.

Warning: listening to Pendulum whilst driving your Monaro may lead to involuntary downshifts, often two at a time, and excessive use of the loud pedal hehe

Good tracks, but I guarantee you'd go faster with "Granite" turned up to 11!

Heavy Metal is too passé, too cliché for this car. It requires something like this:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=KJ-CKRi_tlw - imagine doing burnouts/drifting in slow motion.

It needs rift, it needs funk. Heavy metal is for old folks

or for Mel when she actually gets to spot a Ro on the road
