Its already on my list. Wonder if you can transfer your credits as I've massed 9Mil in GT3. Goes without saying that a Esprit was the first purchase, followed by Zonda and Diablo.

I remember back on the MR2 list a couple years ago. There was a great debate going on over some point on a car, performance or such. One person was coming across as just the ultimate expert on the vehicle in question and what it could do. Well, turns out his total experience was based on this game. Pretty much ended that debate.

I must admit that I still playing GT2 as wife is saying "you have the real things to play with these days, why do you need to spend money on PS2, PS3 etc etc"

But I'll still go and buy the game and the machine to run it on though.

Yeah, I have had those debates too, but not with a GT3 gamer. Usually with one that quotes a lot of figures and specs. Specs are a fine basis to start with but when it all comes down to a physical deployment in the real world with it's varying conditions many times it turns out a little different. I always go to someone who has done it or tested it in the real world before I listen to a book or magazine quoter.

Unity1 does your GT3 game have a Diablo in it? Mine doesn't. Is yours a european or Japanese version of the game?

My little bro gave me his old console, and i rushed out and got GT1.
I am just SO crap on it!,i cannot even get the licenses. And if i try racing in the faster class,i can't stay pointing in the right direction.
I then get SO angry,my girlfriend has to stop me binning the thing.
My hand-eye co-ordination is non-existant. You will all be glad to hear that i don't do track days...

This was typed with one finger, hunting for the letters,as per usual.

Paul,

Have your tried the game using a steering wheel controller instead the of the standard game controllers? I bought a force feedback Logitech wheel for GT3 on the PS2 and it made all the difference in the world. Cars are much easier to control with a steering wheel and pedals than with some silly thumbpads and buttons.

wow, u actually think its easier to drive with the wheels, hmm. always was a lot harder for me, but my wheel i got is also pretty shite. just easier to use the controller since thats where all my life experience is at.

and did u hear about the new gt4 steering wheel, realistic like steering where the thing can turn 2.5 times in each direction. now that will be fun. just waiting for a wheel with a manual gearbox incorporated into it.

I've not played it regularly for a good year so it could be an XJ220 (Sure it was a Diablo with the SV graphics down the side. Sounding like a noob here). Started playing concept which is worth getting as I think it was when I unlocked the third special it give me 10Mil credits on GT3. Allowed me to do a full out Esprit with every upgrade and lighten pack available. Became a beast and totally undriveable (spelling?).

Oh both are European versions.

On a slight different note 'Burn Out 2' is excellent fun especially in 2player mode. More 'Arcade' than GT3 but a good way to blast a few evening hours with a bevy or two

In some real cars I have driven it has less then 2.5 lock to lock. I think I would still prefer the logitech force feedback even though the F1 style paddle shifters do not quite feel right.

I have every single car on GT3 and bought every option never got a Diablo though it has been a while since I played it. Anyone else got one? Oh well it is fun playing head to head linked up with multi players.

The diablo GTR was pulled from the US version for licensing issues. However, there are hacked saved games which allows you to play with the diablo.

But, Lamborghini is making an official presence in GT4.

Yeah,the wheel.
After throwing the controller about a bit,i convinced myself that the problem was not me (luddite caveman), but with the pad. 'If i get a steering wheel i'll be much better'...
These wheels must be made out of kryptonite or some thing,i should have bust mine by now. Spin,Spin, crash, wrong direction,spin,etc...

Think Calvin has good point here: Wheel needs to have more lock-to-lock than my 90 degree thing, that 2.5 lock-to-lock sounds the way forward, yes!.

Then i will triumph...

Just to clarify,in case you guys waste your time trying to help me...
I am still stuck in the valley on tomb raider 1,my friends children can surpass me it seems. This year was my first 'Go' on a PC,i'm getting there, but it really is not ever going to be my medium.
Am SO glad my Esprit has no left click, joystick, icons, tool bar,pop up's,attatchments,j-pegs,etc...
