Hi all,

I am back in the UK for 2 weeks over Feb and wanted to get the 'S' fettled for the summer when I return (half the excuse for not doing all the proposed work myself!) so I have booked it into a local (ish) garage that specialises in classics. The car is running well, apart from an overheating problem which I think is a failure of the waterpump, but I would like a once over from a professional and any issues rectified - I might even get a suspension overhaul. All the main issues such as trailing arms, hood etc have been done recently and it only has 64k on the clock with loads of history so should not be any major worries. I do not want a concourse condition car but something I can rely on to use daily. The chassis is a little rusty and could probably do with a strip and re-sealed.

Anyway, back to the topic. I have managed to remove the wipers so that I only have the metal stalks and no attachments left. Does anybody know where I can get a replacement blade kit with fittings?

The other question is - could anybody provide details of a garage around the Tidworth (Andover) area that I could visit to get the above work done?

I changed mine for some more modern Flat Aero Wiper Blade, these work well (IMHO). The ones I fitted were both 16" and advertised for the cerbera/Griffith and fit the hook type wiper arm.

I got mine off Ebay, if you do a search you will find quite a number of retailers selling them at reasonable prices (around £9-£10 plus postage per pair). As an example only have a look at these Ebay Klicky.
