Well, as per the title really. Not too bothered about the camera as I have a decent compact and I think I'd get more use out of Wi-Fi, GPS and internet than I do from a good camera. Although I have noticed the C905 has a good camera as well as GPS and Wi-Fi and gubbins. Anyway, over to you lot.

It has cost me another 14 quid a month on top of my regular package as I have gone for Web n Walk and BlackBerry e-mail.

Despite most other phones having 300 extra functions over a iPhone most of them are hidden under 300 bloody menus
My last phone was also an MP3 player and i used that capability roughly zero times as it was difficult to do
My last phone could do e-mail which i also used never as it was bloody awful and complicated
My last phone had a camera which i used rarely as it was crap

Low on features and damn high on useability. i have yet to jump up and down shouting abuse at the iPhone where as most of my previous phones have had an untimely death involving a heavy implement or a short flight towards a quite satisfying smash

beautiful phone, but flawed. Screen too small, tendancy to turn off the screen when you are in the middle of a call, battery life poor......nothings perfect I suppose. Just don't be tempted to get the T-mobile version.jesusbuiltmycar said:

Orange told me the Sony Ericsson Xperia is out soon as an upgrade...I tried an iphone -but O2's customer services were sh*te so I decided to stay on orange and wait for the Xperia...

As a smartphone? You've got to be kidding?At a minimum a smartphone would need to be able to handle true multi-tasking - not possible on the iPhone. For GPS, I believe the iPhones only option is google maps. Which absolutely sucks beyond belief if you're in a low/no signal area. TomTom won't be released until Apple remove their restriction on third parties developing turn-by-turn mapping applications.
Don't get me wrong - the iPhone is a good platform, ridiculously easy to use, but its relatively feature light.
Each to their own though - I'm now using a Nokia N95, firmware is absolutely reliable, its my primary camera 99% of the time, it does video thats just about good enough for encoding over to DVDs, printed picture quality is good up to 7x5 (all I've printed to so far). Its got on-board podcasting support (no messing about with iTunes or anything off-device), the music player is pretty good, and there's a bit-torrent client available. I can't do half of that on the iPhone.
I've surprised myself how much I've used its functionality - I've had it downloading a video via P2P, downloading podcasts, and I've been taking a video or stills at the same time ....
