Importing a UK kit car into Norway

I'm thinking of moving to Norway for a while and want to take my V8 toy with me.
Its already registered in the uk on a Q plate and was SVA`d in 1999.
A few questions:-
Is Norway Se7en friendly? Any Norwegians on the list who have one on the road?
Will it just be some forms to fill in, or is there some sort of SVA type test required to get registered?
Any experiences of this would be appriechiated.

I worked in Norway for a while and my inspector wanted a 7 type car but he was looking for one 25+ years old, as that would have been easyto get in, classed as a classic maybe.
He did have a friend with a Caterham so it is possible but I think very difficult.
Of course you can take a car and leave it on UK plates for up to one year.

I lived in Norway on and of for 25 years, taking a car in has two problems one is cost and the other is getting it legal.
Norway has dropped all import duties on cars and now charges a registration tax based on power/cc, it is very expensive. The old rule was that if you were going there for the first time or had been away for 5 years you were exempt import duty. I toke my 735 in that way duty free, or you could have a car over 30 years old, and exempt, but I am told that there is now no exemption from the registration tax. There is no refund if you take the car back out, so there is no way it is effective to bring a take a car in on Norwegian plates for a few years.
The other problem is type approval, I’ve looked at taking a Jensen Healy in from the USA, but not all the JH models are type approved for Norway, so getting type approval for a kit is nearly impossible,. There are a few ‘real’ 7’s in Norway so I presume a Caterham would get in.
Norway is not 7 friendly, I had my Sylva there for a while and apart from the weather, the roads are not good for low ground clearance, There is no problem driving the Kit in, I drove my Sylva off the ferry in Stavanger no problem, so I’d say just take it and use it for the time of the temporary import, which was 6 months. Keep the tax and insurance in the UK.
