Hi Guys,

I am getting one of these: car cover as I will need to keep my Chim outside. As I live in London, I need a clear section sewen into it so that the parking attendants can see my tax and parking permit. Any ideas on who can do this for me (or how I can do it myself?).

I hate the old hole cut in the cover technique that seems to eliminate the waterproofing and point of covering the car in the first place!

Many thanks,

Shubs

thanks geoff, do you mind posting a link to where you got the clear window material? I have never seen an outdoor cover with a window, does anybody know of these?

These guys do a tailored cover and a kit to fit yourself for permits to park etc.

I have one of these covers that has holes in it ,cut by a previous owner of the cover.

A little water through the holes doesnt seem to be a problem. Although I have thought about using the supplied bag to cover/patch over the holes.( one each side)
