Guys,

I bought an E46 just after New Year, it had no spare so I'm wondering what size space saver fits?
It's a 330ci on 18" wheels? I have seen 15-17" space-saver's, obviously I'd be better with the 17, but will the other tow fit over my brakes?

Thanks in advance!

I thought both e46 sports that we owned had 18" spacesavers, could be wrong though. I can't ever remember using them.

The biggest I've seen were 17", I'll probably call the main stealer tomorrow and get a price/info, I just didn't want to call them up blind and get pick pocketed!

My 2003 facelift 330Ci (coupe not conv) Sport sits on 18" MV2's - the spacesaver in the boot though is 17" (just checked), with a 125.80.17 tyre.

+1, same car (well, 02), same size wheels, same spacesaver.

Just a thought (a silly one I know), but are you sure it doesn't have a spare already? A quick glance under the lift up floor panel on mine and it seems like there isn't one, as it hides under the circular plastic panel which itself is recessed quite deep into the floor well.

defo a 17" on then. I'll need to try harder! Anyone got an idea what they should be from BMW?

Edited to add, I'll check again, but I'm sure it hasn't!

Its not that silly a thought, when we picked the Mrs's car up I thought that the space saver had been pinched. It was under the second plastic cover, I was suitably embarassed!

That said the multichanger had actually been nicked between test driving it and picking it up though. It was replaced by a shiny new one two days later though at their expense.
