Credit Card limit gone up again!

Without asking (and they hadn't told me) my bank have upped my credit card limit again.

I've only just realised as I was paying it off online and couldn't work out why the balance figures looked different.

I'm wondering if they are actualy trying to trap me with a higher limit. I'm responsible with it, hardly ever does a balance get carried over to the next month as I usualy pay it off completely.

If you pay it off then surely the higher limit isn't a problem. In fact, it may well come in useful one day.

This is until it becomes silly. I was offered a new CC limit of 110% of my salary a few weeks back.

I just called them. They upped it because they saw an increase in my monthly transfered salary figure. Nice of them to notify me.

ONe of mine has just been upped as well, thye did send me a letter, but no idea why they've done it, don't even use that card!
