Apple iphone Jailbreak question???

Just a question please, someone kindly (on here) gave me a jailbreak program for my iphone it now works well on orange,however I wonder if any one knows how to enable the 2g data download as it wont go online unless its on wifi it says on screen I have no data download facility,orange have no Iphone assistance at all ,its got the 2.2 software and is a 2g not 3g if i could just do this it would be good,I have to say its not the easiest gadget but I will persevere if i can just sort this issue out any help would be much appreciated.

I don't understand 'not the easiest gadget' - you're using it outside of the manufacturer's specification - ie. unlocked, jailbroken and on a different carrier. If you were on O2 it would 'just work'.

cheers probably me but the not forwarding of txts and pics ,the way the phone book works,poor bluetooth functionality,its not the nuts every one says imho will keep trying though hopefully be better once settings are sorted thanks for your help!

You need to adopt a different attitude when using an iPhone.

Forwarding texts, admittedly, is an issue.

MMS less so, as it's designed as a mobile internet device - so photos are best emailed, rather than sent by MMS (which is crap quality and resolution)

I do miss some of the Bluetooth functionality - but this is a small price to pay for a device that just does everything else so easily.
